Noden Kulturförning (ongoing)
Noden in Sickla
Noden was located in Sickla for nearly three years until the building it occupied was slated for demolition, prompting the need for a new home to continue the remarkable community and experimental initiative it represented. The arrangement at Sickla Industriväg had been an extraordinary and rare opportunity. With access to over 600 square meters of space at minimal cost, close to central Stockholm, and with the freedom to make modifications as needed, all under the stewardship of an exceptionally open-minded and flexible landlord, the conditions were uniquely favorable. However, it was always understood that these circumstances would shift dramatically when the time came to move.
Blivande's ancestor
When the time finally arrived, the Noden community had grown to 300 paying members and had saved a substantial amount of money through hosting events. These funds became instrumental in covering the rent for its new location, alongside contributions from other ventures. This marked the beginning of what would become Blivande.
Noden Today
Since then, Noden has become an integral part of the activities at Blivande. The association rents the space from Monday to Thursday between 18:00 and 24:00 and shares the facilities with Blivande on Sundays. Currently, Noden hosts a vibrant Free Flow (sober rave) community and a highly active Shibari community, which has attracted international Shibari artists to the community hub.
